Fluffy Brownies with Chocolate Frosting! Yum yummy yum!
These brownies are very light and fluffy, so they are great if you're looking for a small snack.
Ingredients
Brownies
- 3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 c granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Frosting
- 1/2 c. softened butter
- 4 1/2 c powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 5-6 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cocoa and 1 tsp vanilla. You may add a small amount of water and make a thick paste.
- In a larger bowl, beat together the butter and sugar. Then, add the eggs and the rest of the vanilla.
- Add in the cocoa mixture.
- Slowly mix in the flour, followed by the salt and baking powder.
- Pour into a greased 8x8x2 inch pan and bake for approximately 30 minutes.
- Prepare the frosting. Cream the butter. Then simply add in the powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk, and cocoa. Mix until fluffy!
After the brownies are cooled you may frost them. Best of luck! They are delicious!
